TCI Offers Advanced Wellness Screenings
We recommend you have advanced wellness screenings if you:
- Are 40 years and older
- If you have diabetes or have a family history of diabetes
- Have high blood pressure, or a prior family history of stroke
- Have experienced dizziness without cause
- Have a prior family history of aneurysms
- Undiagnosed back pain
- Smoke and are over 40 years of age
- Have experienced symptoms of tightness in the legs during walking or exercise and felt that tightness cease after walking or exercise.
 Screening to determine the presence of plaque that could lead to a stroke for those 40 years and older (carotid artery stroke screening). There is a direct relationship between plaque buildup of the arteries in the neck and being able to determine the likelihood of having a stroke at any age.
Screening to determine the presence of an artery aneurysm for those 40 years and older (abdominal aortic aneurysm screening). Aneurysms can come without any warning of evident symptoms. This advanced screening scans for the possible existence of an aneurysm.
Screening to determine the presence of artery disease of the legs for those 40 years and older (peripheral arterial screening). Heart disease affects individuals of all ages. This exam not only determines the disease of the legs but is also a direct link to coronary artery disease.
